Leadership with technical depth and operational experience
Szabolcs Kun
Information technologist and mechanical engineer currently based in Vienna (Austria). Founder of Arenim Group and exited founder of ArenimTel (www.arenimtel.com). In 2014, he received the "Founder of the Year" award at the Central European Startup Awards. In 2015, he was included in the Financial Times list of Europe's 100 most prominent innovators.
Following the successful exit of ArenimTel in 2025 he was honored with the EY Digital Entrepreneur of the Year award in Hungary.
Attila Megyeri
Electrical engineer specializing in telecommunications technologies and high-availability IT systems. Founder of Arenim Group and exited founder of ArenimTel (www.arenimtel.com). Managing Director of our Hungarian Development Center since 2018. Over a professional career spanning more than 25 years, he has worked in diverse locations around the world, from Ulaanbaatar to Las Vegas. In 2014, CryptTalk, designed by Attila, won the ITBN Most Innovative IT Security Product award. In 2021, the ArenimTel Softphone, designed by Attila, received the Deloitte Fast 50 Impact Star Award.
Dr. Péter Barabás
Graduated from the University of Miskolc with a Master's degree in IT Engineering and a PhD in Software Development. He is a specialist in software technologies and development. Péter has broad and up-to-date expertise in IT and software development and he brings over 25 years of experience in the field. Software products designed and implemented by him and his team are used worldwide in mission-critical environments. In 2014, the Arenim development team led by Péter won the "Developer Heroes" award at the CESA Awards, and in 2016 received the Innovation Grand Prize awarded by the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
László Csáky
László has extensive management experience as an HR Manager, Business Coach, and Customer Service Director at Telenor / Pannon GSM / Yettel.
He has been working as a personal coach and HR consultant for Arenim Group since 2016, and since 2022 he has served as Managing Director of Arenim Infosec Kft.
An ultramarathon runner with well over 100,000 kilometers in his legs.

In addition to managing the Arenim Group, he has been CEO of our Swedish subsidiary since 2013. In 2014, he won the “Founder of the Year” award at the Central European Startup Awards. In 2015, he was included in the Financial Times list of Europe’s 100 most prominent innovators of the modern era.

Our story from the start
Our story from the start
Our team has spent the last 15 years developing systems to secure real-time data for customers across Europe. We cut our teeth by developing our secure Voice-Over-IP engine for some of the largest IP-telecom companies to process voice calls and general data communication. When we decided to bring our first secure communication solution CryptTalk to the market, we already had 90% of the technology needed for our secure calling and messaging service. After several years of experience in providing secure communication services for data security sensitive customers, in 2022 we have started to prepare our products for post-quantum security, releasing KvantPhone and KvantMail enabling users to get prepared for the challenges of the post-quantum era.
Founders team up – our story begins
Founders Attila Megyeri and Sab Kun start to work together on first telecommunication projects and start to incubate Arenim’s telecommunication platform.
Management is up and running
Dr. Peter Barabas joins the founders as a co-owner and with a small team of 6 tech people, they create the first prototype of telecommunication engine, the foundation of all later Arenim products.
Establishment of Arenim Group
After deploying first successful projects with our own proprietary technology, we have established the first company of the later Arenim Group.
Release of 1st security product
Release of CryptTalk, Arenim’s first communication encryption product.
Our first cybersec award
“Creating Value in IT Security” by ISACA (Information Systems Audit and Control Association) – our first prestigious award for our cyber security activity.

Establishment of our cybersec spin-off
As our cybersec business volume has started to grow, we have decided to establish Arenim Infosec Kft., the cyber security spin-off of Arenim Group.
Release of secure e-mail solution
We have released KvantMail, the secure e-mail solution extending our secure communication portfolio. Our first deployment was on-site for some highly security-sensitive clientele.
Post-quantum preparation
Start of experimenting with first NIST approved quantum-resistant cryptographic algorithms.
Beta release of post-quantum product
Beta release of KvantPhone – rebranded from CryptTalk -, the herald of our quantum resiliant secure communication platform.
Public release of KvantPhone
Launch of KvantPhone with full, 3rd-party audited quantum resilient feature set, available worldwide including application store subscriptions.
EY Digital Entrepreneur Award
Co-founder of Arenim Group Sab Kun (Szabolcs Kun) has been awarded by Ernst & Young with The Entrepreneur Of The Year Digital Award
